- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ¼ cup desiccated coconut
- ¼ cup chopped dry fruits (almonds, cashews, raisins, pistachios)
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
For Frying:
- Ghee or refined oil
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Prepare the Dough – In a bowl, mix maida with ghee. Rub well till mixture turns crumbly. Slowly add water and knead into a soft dough. Cover and rest for 30 minutes.
- Make the Filling – Roast khoya lightly till golden. Add sugar, coconut, cardamom powder, and chopped nuts. Mix well and let it cool.
- Shape the Gujiyas – Roll small dough balls into circles. Place filling in the center, fold, and seal edges using little water. You can use a gujiya mould for perfect shape.

- Do not overstuff the filling, else gujiyas may break while frying.
